Carta D'Armenia Incense Paper

Carta D'Armenia Incense Paper
Incense Paper from Santa Maria Novella
Crafted in Florence using traditional methods, this incense paper from Santa Maria Novella adds a refined touch to your space. Eighteen sheets are beautifully presented in a red box, inspired by the warm glow of a flickering flame.
To use, simply concertina the paper, light one edge, and allow it to smolder, releasing a delicate, lasting fragrance.
Alternatively, for a more subtle scent, place the sheets in drawers, wardrobes, or any corner of your home to gently perfume linens, fabrics, and the air.
Since 1885, Carta d'Armenia has been one of the last remaining "Medicinal Papers." Originally used from the 17th to early 20th century, these historic sanitizing deodorants were inspired by Frenchman August Ponsot’s discovery that Armenians scented and purified their homes with a natural resin, emitting a warm, vanilla-like aroma.
How to Use:
For an immediate fragrance release, concertina the paper, light an edge, and allow it to smolder.
Always place the paper on a heatproof plate, such as our SETO incense plate or Rockuku ceramic dish.
Handmade in Italy
Care:
