Lost Wax Amulet Workshop – 27/06/2026
WAX Atelier x JESTURE
Saturday 27th June 2026
11am – 5pm
Abney Park Studio, London N16 0HL
Join WAX Atelier and London-based jeweller Ali Fitzpatrick of JESTURE for a one-day lost wax casting workshop inspired by the history and nature of Abney Park.
Using beeswax developed from WAX Atelier’s candle production waste, you will learn to carve and sculpt your own amulet, charm, or pendant by hand, ready to be cast into silver or brass to last a lifetime.
We’ll begin the day with a gentle walk through Abney Park to gather inspiration, before returning to the studio to design, shape, and carve your wax piece. Along the way, you’ll be introduced to the ancient art of lost wax casting and the history of jewellery as talismans and keepsakes.
You’ll also have the opportunity to cast foraged natural objects in wax and choose from a selection of silk cord chains for your final piece.
Weather permitting, lunch will be enjoyed al fresco in the park surroundings outside the studio. A wonderful way to spend the day learning a new skill, making something meaningful, and meeting like-minded people.
