The Time Bell Candle Holder is a one of a kind meditative piece that creates a relaxing mood in your home.

When the candle is lit, wax slowly melts and eventually a brass pin falls in the dish with a clear and soothing sound, indicating the passing of time. The bell-like chime is not unlike the sounds of Buddhist altars.

Each set includes a solid brass plate, 3 solid brass pins and a pair of WAX Atelier beeswax Dining candles from this season’s collection.

The holder is handmade using a traditional casting technique handed over 400 years by artisans in the city of Takaoka in the Toyama Prefecture, Japan. The unique variations in the patina draws from the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, which celebrates the appreciation for the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete in nature.
